Since they are a big company you can be confident that they won't be going out of business anytime. Their e-commerce possibilities are interesting because you can integrate your Yahoo Stores. Since Yahoo does a lot of e-commerce I think they will make it a point to give you many e-commerce features that you can integrate into your site. Yahoo is one of the most reliable hosts on the internet since they host the pages similarly to their search engine. Their hosting plans are not the best or the cheapest though. Because they cater to newer webmasters they are able to sell their packages at a higher price to uneducated beginners.

Their "Standard Plan" gives you 10 GB diskspace, 400 GB bandwidth, 500 e-mail addresses, and 200 subdomains for $19.95 per month.
Their "Professional Plan" gives you 20 GB diskspace, 500 GB bandwidth, 1,000 email addresses, and 500 subdomains for $39.95 per month.

Features

They have a web-based control panel that has all the typical features and functionality. They also have php Nuke, phpBB, Gallery2 , guestbooks, access logs, log analyzer, site stats, Integrated installation of WordPress and Movable Type, SSL certificates and encryption, Local and remote backup of your web site, 99.9% uptime, Yahoo! SiteBuilder, Frontpage & Dreamwaver support, 1,000 FTP accounts, PHP version 4.3.11, Perl version 5.8.7, MySQL 4.1.12 with unlimited databases, DNS control.

Their email accounts have an email attachment size limit of 20MB an a storage per email account limit of 2GB. Yahoo! has great support - probably because they are used to calls from many beginning webmasters. They have 24/7 phone support in multi-languages. They have high reliability because they have the money to spend to ake sure tings go well and, beause of their serch engine, know how important uptime is.
